I analyze design like sports and I treat typography like music—two things I’m fond of. Just as I soak in every play, every beat, I soak in every character and image used. I scan and scan. I sketch and sketch. I create my own methods to give each project the energy it needs. I work in a collaborative and improvised way, but the process is beautiful.
